Courses
DARC offers a broad range of highly specialized training. As you will find, the classes we offer are not mere lectures. Others may teach in a classroom, but we believe the best way you will learn is by experiential, realistic mission training. We offer the following options and we can customize all DARC courses to suit your unit(or organization)'s training needs.
Our courses inlcude:
Advanced Tactical Pistol
Advanced Urban Warfare I&II- This course focuses on leadership, communication and complex
problem solving while maintaining momentum in a hostile urban environment.
During the course, participants will train to recover and/or secure assets
from a prepared, determined, and motivated enemy. Team cohesiveness, unity
of effort, momentum, SOP/IAD reliance, and pre-mission planning are stressed
throughout the course. Training is experiential and has the additional
benefits of team building and leadership development.
The POI was developed to negate or control the natural advantages of the
enemy when confronted in this environment while simultaneously addressing
the time sensitive nature of this mission. This course takes a holistic
approach to defeating a determined, well equipped, and well-trained enemy.
The AUW-UAR course is not a lecture. A learn by doing approach is used in
conjunction with an advanced learning philosophy, repetition, and varying
degrees of stress.
Advanced Tactical Carbine-This is a dynamic and physically demanding firearms course. The
course focuses on safe, efficient, and effective weapons manipulation from
0-300m under varying conditions against multiple threats. A large portion of
the class involves shooting and moving while using the different (primary
and secondary) firing positions. This course is not a lecture.
